An agreement has been signed between Army IBA Sylhet (AIBA) and Daffodil Computers Limited to develop and implement a modern Integrated University Management System (IUMS) to transform Army IBA Sylhet into a smart campus by ensuring the application of modern technology in academic and administrative activities. The signing ceremony occurred on Nov 26, 2024, at the Army IBA Sylhet campus.
On behalf of Army IBA Sylhet, the agreement was signed by its Director, Brigadier General KM Kaiser Hossain, and on behalf of Daffodil Computers Limited, Reaz Uddin Ahmed, AGM and Head of Marketing of Daffodil Software. Senior officials from both organizations were present at the event.
Under the agreement, Daffodil Computers Limited will develop, implement, and provide services for software tailored to the needs of Army IBA Sylhet. The system will digitize various administrative and academic activities, including student enrollment and information management, course registration, grading, exam scheduling, automated result preparation, blockchain-based certificate verification, human resource management, and financial and accounting operations. This initiative will streamline and enhance the efficiency of the institution's operations.
Notably, Daffodil Computers Limited has already successfully implemented technology-driven educational and administrative systems for several national and international educational institutions, including the Department of Accounting and Information Systems at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), Comilla University, Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX), RTM Al Kabir Technical University, Horseed International University (Somalia), Far East International University (FIU), and Daffodil International University.
