United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will undertake an official visit to Bangladesh from 13-16 March, his office confirmed.
The visit follows an invitation from the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh's Interim Government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, according to a press release, issued by the Bangladesh Permanent Mission in U.N., received in Dhaka on Wednesday (Feb 26).
The invitation was handed over by Dr. Khalilur Rahman, High Representative of the Chief Adviser on the Rohingya Issue and Priority Matters, during his meeting with the Secretary-General on Feb 7 in New York, said the release.
