Bellingham & Mbappe score as Madrid beat Leganes

Kylian Mbappe ended his goal drought with a close-range strike and midfielder Jude Bellingham scored a header as Real Madrid thrashed Leganes 3-0 on Sunday. With a game in hand, Real are second in the standings on 30 points, four behind Barcelona , who drew 2-2 with Celta Vigo on Saturday.

Real Madrid cut the gap on LaLiga leaders FC Barcelona to four points as Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring in a 3-0 win at Leganes on Sunday (Nov 24).

Madrid were given the chance to make ground on Barca following their 2-2 draw at Celta Vigo on Saturday.

Carlo Ancelotti picked Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior and Mbappe once more, and the latter two combined for the opener.

After a frustrating first half, the Brazil international teed up the Frenchman to slot home at the far post.

In the second half, Federico Valverde converted a well-worked free kick with a fierce shot to double Madrid's advantage.

With the game’s end in sight, Bellingham nodded into an empty net to make it three.

The victory moves Real Madrid into second place as they leapfrog Atletico Madrid, and if they win their game in hand they would be just a point behind league leaders Barca.
