Chief Adviser of Bangladesh's interim government Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus was welcomed by Qatari ministers and dignitaries at the inaugural ceremony of Erthana Summit in Doha on Tuesday (Apr 22) morning. On the occasion, the Chief Adviser exchanged pleasantries with the dignitaries.
Muhammad Yunus is now on a four-day visit to Qatar to attend the 'Eartana Summit'.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Qatar Md. Nazrul Islam received Dr. Yunus upon his arrival at Hamad International Airport around 21:40 p.m. on Monday (Doha time) by a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight, Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder told National News Agency of Bangladesh - BSS.
Earlier, the head of the interim government departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 7:00 p.m. (Dhaka time) on Monday.
