Pacer Nahid Rana stole the show as Rangpur Riders outclass Sylhet Strikers by 34-run in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 in Mirpur on Tuesday (Dec 31). Rana saw off Zakir Hasan, Paul Stirling, Jaker Ali, and Samiullah Shinwari to restrict Sylhet to 121-9 after Rangpur posted a moderate 155-6.
Spinner Khushdil Shah and seamer Mohammad Saifuddin captured two wickets apiece for Rangpur.
Rangpur claim second straight victory after they won opening fixture against Dhaka Capitals at the same venue on Monday.
Earlier, skipper Nurul Hasan Sohan scored a 24-ball 41 to help his side past 150 after they reduced to 69-4 in the 12th over. The right-handed batter registered a 65-run stand with Iftikhar Ahmed, who scored 42-ball 47.
