Eid Jamaat to be held at 8:30 am at National Eidgah

The main Jamaat of Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest celebration of Muslim ummah, will be held at 8.30 a.m. at the National Eidgah in the capital. Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has taken all necessary preparations for holding the main Jamaat of Eid-ul-Fitr at the National Eidgah, DSCC Public Relation Officer Md Abu Naser told media on Monday (Apr 8). Around 35,000 devotees would be able to participate in the congregation, he added.

Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque Mawlana mufti Ruhul Amin and its Muezzin Qari Muhammad Habibur Rahman will lead the congregation.

DSCC Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh will inspect overall preparations on Tuesday at the National Eidgah.
