Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury and Taimur Alam Khandkar have been elected Chairman and Secretary General of Trinamool BNP, a political party that got Election Commission's registration recently. The party founder late Nazmul Huda's daughter Antara Selima Huda is elected Executive Chairperson as a 27-member partial committee was announced at the party's national conference and council at Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) on Tuesday (Sep 19), local media reported.
Shamsher Mobin, at the conference, said Trinamool BNP is an independent political party while Taimur stated that this party won't be a private limited as none will be neglected here.
Taimur said decision over the next general elections will be taken after holding discussion in the party.
Barrister Nazmul Huda formed Trinamool BNP in 2015 and it got registration from the Election Commission in February this year.
