Second phase of Bishwa Ijtema ends

The second phase of the first part of the Bishwa Ijtema ended on Wednesday (Feb 5) on the banks of the Turag River in Tongi with Akheri Munajat (Final Prayer). Maulana Mohammad Zubair conducted the prayer from 12.08 p.m. to 12.27 p.m., local media reported citing the Ijtema organising committee.

The first phase of the first part of the Biswa Ijtema ended on Feb 2, while the second phase commenced on Feb 3.

The second part of the Bishwa Ijtema, for followers of Maulana Saad Kandhalvi, is scheduled to begin for Feb 14-16 at the same venue.
