A three-day 'boot camp' of Bangabandhu Innovation Grant (BIG) 2023 organized for 103 startups selected through the primary screening and online pitching concluded on Sunday (Jun 11). The Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) Project of Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) under the ICT Division, organized the boot camp at Sheikh Hasina Software Technology Park in Jashore, said a press release. ICT Division Secretary Md Shamsul Arefin was present at the closing ceremony as the chief guest.
The participating startups in the boot camp, which began on Friday, received mentoring in 10 sessions, including feasibility, business strategy, startup concept, technology and team management.
BCC Executive Director Ranajit Kumar was present at the event as special guest with iDEA Project Director and Joint Secretary Md Altaf Hossain in the chair.
iDEA Project Deputy Director and Deputy Secretary Md Mizanur Rahman delivered welcome address at the event while Sr. Consultant of iDEA Project and BIG 2023 Chief Coordinator Siddhartho Goushami moderated it.
Jashore Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Khaleda Khatun Rekha and Founder and Chief Storyteller for BetterStories Limited Minhaz Anwar were also present at the programme.
