Philippine envoy meets Muhammad Yunus

Philippine Ambassador Nina P. Cainglet called on Chief Adviser of the interim government Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the state guest house Jamuna in Dhaka on Monday (Apr 7). During the meeting, they discussed about strengthening bilateral relations between the Philippines and Bangladesh, Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder told National News Agency of Bangladesh – BSS.

Key topics including the expansion of trade and commerce between the two nations and exploration of potential MOUs to further solidify collaboration various sectors came up in the discussion.

They also highlighted the potential areas for increased cooperation, such as agriculture and education, with both the sides expressing optimism about the future of Philippine-Bangladesh relations.

Ambassador Nina P. Cainglet conveyed full support for Bangladesh's Interim Government on behalf of President Bongbong Marcos and the people of the Philippines.
