The interim government on Saturday (Jan 25) suspended the list of awardees of Bangla Academy Literary Awards-2024 after two days of announcement of their names. Adviser to the Ministry of Culture Affairs Mostofa Sarwar Farooki informed this in a post in his verified face book account.
Meanwhile, Director General of Bangla Academy Prof. Mohammad Azam in a press statement said, the list of Bangla Academy Literary Awards-2024 has been postponed.
A revised list of award recipients will be announced within the next three working days, the statement added.
