President asks BJSC to complete judges’ recruitment at earliest

President Mohammed Shahabuddin asked the Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission (BJSC) to complete the recruitment process of judges by the quickest possible time. The President came up with the suggestion as a BJSC delegation led by Appellate Division Justice Jubair Rahman Chowdhury, also Chairman of the Commission, submitted its Annual Report-2023 to him at the Bangabhaban in Dhaka on Monday (Dec 9). Other commission members were also present at the time, President's Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin told media.

The head of the state expressed his satisfaction over the activities of the Judicial Service Commission.

During the meeting, the President was apprised by the BJSC Chairman of the various aspects of annual report and overall activities of the Commission.

He expressed the hope that the BJSC under the incumbent leaderships would advance with skills and experience as well as be able to bring qualitative changes in the country’s judicial system.

Secretaries concerned to the President's Office were present on the occasion.
