ICSB, AIUB ink MoU for strategic partnership

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) and American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) for strategic partnership and mutual benefits. Professor Dr Saiful Islam, Vice-Chancellor of AIUB and Abul Fazal Mohamed Rubayat FCS, Chairman of Education Committee, ICSB signed the MoU on Monday at a function at AIUB campus in the city, said a press release on Tuesday (Nov 5).

The MoU allows for enhanced academic and professional achievements, sharing knowledge and latest information, research works, curriculum improvements, organizing events, training programmes and comprehensive development of both organizations under certain terms and conditions as agreed upon.

Besides the MoU, a career session titled “Unlocking your potential with ICSB: A journey to professional excellence” was also held.

ICSB Team was led by A K M Mushfiqur Rahman FCS, Vice-President. Among other dignitaries from ICSB, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun FCS, Treasurer, Md Azizur Rahman FCS, Council Member, Oli Kamal FCS, Council Member, Md. Sharif Hasan FCS, Council Member and Mohammad Shafiqul Islam Bhuiyan FCS, Chairman, Examination Committee attended the seminar.

A K M Mushfiqur Rahman FCS, Vice-President introduced all delegates to the Vice Chancellor of AIUB and apprised him about the prospect of chartered secretary profession and various activities of ICSB.

Both parties have desired for a new level of reciprocity in the area of resource development and sharing, organizing workshops, seminars-conferences and other knowledge sharing activities.

At the end, parties handed over souvenirs with each other.
