Army Chief pays courtesy call on Chief Adviser

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman on Sunday (Sep 22) paid a courtesy call on Chief Adviser to the Interim Government Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus at his office in Dhaka.

"During the meeting, the Chief Adviser was apprised by the Army Chief of the existing overall security situation across the country... and the activities undertaken by the Armed Forces Division," said a release of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During the meeting, the Chief Adviser gave necessary instructions to the Army Chief about the current situation and also expressed his thanks to the Army Chief for paying the courtesy call, the release added.
