Interactive session on Future Career on Frontier Technologies held

Bangladesh Innovation Forum and International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) jointly organized an interactive session titled 'Future Career on Frontier Technology' at the seminar hall of IUBAT on Wednesday (Jun 26).

The aim of the event was to expose students to frontier technology career opportunities. To inform participants about career opportunities in various new and innovative technologies, to increase awareness of recent and future technological trends and their potential impact, providing guidance to students for necessary skill development so that they can adapt to new technologies, creating opportunities for networking and collaboration between students, teachers and technology experts, enhancing their skills by organizing various trainings and workshops for students.

Abdur Rab, Vice-Chancellor of IUBAT was present as the chief guest. He said, “Advances in technology are expanding the horizons of current and future careers. It is very important for our students to gain knowledge about new areas of technology. Such events will expose them to various frontier technologies and provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge, which will help them succeed in their careers. I hope our students will utilize this opportunity to prepare themselves for the future and play an important role in the development of the country.”

Md. Abdullah Al Mahmud, Founder and CEO of Thriving Skills Limited, was present as the keynote speaker on the occasion, he said, “Efficiency is of immense importance in the development of frontier technologies. Technology is changing rapidly in today's world and we need to acquire new skills to keep pace with this change. Our students should prepare themselves not only for the current job market, But also to prepare for the future job market. If they acquire knowledge and skills in the field of frontier technology, they will be able to lead not only their career but also the country's economy towards development. I hope our students will take away valuable learning from this interactive session and propel themselves forward in a competitive world.”

Also present among the panelists were Selina Nargis, Treasurer of IUBAT, Director and Chief Operating Officer of Aqualink Bangladesh Ltd. Niaz Sharif Sourav, CEO of Bangla Puzzle Limited, Nadeem Majid. The event was conducted by the President of Bangladesh Innovation Forum, Ariful Hasan Opu.

The event was supported by IUBAT Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (IIEC) and HB Aviation and Tourism Institute; e-Soft as the IT partner.
