Renowned ophthalmologist Professor Deen Md Nurul Haque has been appointed as the new Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
By the approval of president and chancellor of the university President Mohammed Shahabuddin, Nurul Haque has been appointed as the VC for a four-year term.
Prof Nurul is set to take charge from Mar 29, according to a notification issued on Monday (Mar 11).
