Metrorail to follow new schedule from Feb 17

Metrorail to follow new schedule from Feb 17

Metro trains will now be available every eight minutes instead of 10, Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) Managing Director MAN Siddique told the media on Thursday (Feb 15). The new schedule will be effective Saturday (Feb 17).

Passengers are getting the full benefits of metro rail, which has not only expanded its station accessibility from Uttara to Motijheel but also its operating hours.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated metro rail on Dec 28, 2022. Currently, metro rail operates on the Uttara-Motijheel route from 7:10 a.m. to 8:40 p.m. daily, stopping at all 16 stations.
