Biman starts Hajj flight from Chattogram

Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Wednesday (Jun 15) started dedicated Hajj flights operation from Hazrat Shah Amanat International Airport, Chattogram to Jeddha and Medina.

Biman's first dedicated Hajj flight BG-3211 left the port city with 417 pilgrims on board at 1:45 p.m., said a Biman press release.

This year, the national flag carrier will operate 65 dedicated pre-Hajj flights from Bangladesh, including nine on Chattogram-Jeddah and two on Chattogram-Medina routes, the release added.

Shah Amanat Airport Director Wing Commander Farhad Hossain Khan was present as the chief guest at the opening ceremony.
