Bangladesh go down fighting 1-0 to India

Bangladesh U-18 women’s team suffered a solitary goal defeat to host India in their second match of the SAFF U-18 Women’s Championship on Saturday (Mar 19) at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur, India.

After the barren first half, Nitu finally broke the deadlock scoring the decisive goal for India in the 64th minute of the match.

Bangladesh, however, tried heart and soul to stage a fight back in the match, but they failed to score any in the remaining proceeding.

Bangladesh will play their next match against Nepal on Mar 23 at the same venue.

Earlier, Bangladesh beat Nepal by 4-2 goals while India blanked Nepal by 7-0 drubbing in both their respective tournament opening matches.
