Biman opens ticket sales on Dhaka-Toronto route

Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Saturday (Mar 19) afternoon opened the sales of tickets for the travellers on the Dhaka-Toronto route as the national flag carrier is all set to begin the experimental commercial flight on the route from Mar 26.

Passengers can purchase the tickets from its website – www.biman-airlines.com, call centre (01990997997), sales centres, and travel agencies approved by Biman, said a press release.

On Mar 26, the Biman flight (BG 305) will leave Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka for Toronto Pearson International Airport at 11:00 p.m. (local time) and reach the destination the next day at 7:15 a.m. (local time).

The return flight (BG 306) will depart Toronto at 10:00 a.m. (local time) on Mar 29 and land at the Dhaka airport at 12:15 p.m. (local time) on Mar 30, the release added.

The Dhaka-Toronto flight will be operated with its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft.

Passengers have been requested to do molecular Covid-19 tests within maximum 72 hours prior to departure and thus carry negative certificates following the Canadian travel advisory, it also added.
