Bangladesh Awami League-backed candidate Uma Chowdhury Joly has won the Natore municipality election. District Election Officer Md Aslam declared Uma Chowdhury Joly as Chairman unofficially at around 7:15 p.m., local media reported.
Jolly secured 20,659 votes while her nearest rival independent candidate Sheikh Emadadul Haque Al Mamun bagged 13,782 votes.
