Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has reduced the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Tk 50 from 1,228 for a 12 kg cylinder at retailer level. The newly fixed price of LPG is Tk 1,178, which was Tk 1,228. It will be effective from Monday (Jan 3) at 6 p.m. and all licenses of LPG marketing companies will implement the price, according to a statement issued by the BERC.
It said the BERC also re-fixed auto gas price Tk 54.94 per liter, while per kilogram of LPG at Tk 98.17 at retailer level inclusive VAT owned by private sector.
According to the BERC decision, new price at retailer level owned by private sector, 12.5 kg LPG has been fixed at Tk 1,227 at retailer level, 15 kg at Tk 1,473, 16 kg at Tk 1,571, 18 kg at Tk 1,767, 20 kg at Tk 1,963, 22 kg at Tk 2,160, 25 kg at Tk 2,454, 30 kg at Tk 2,945, 33 kg at Tk 3,240, 35 kg at Tk 3,436 and 45 kg at Tk 4,418.
