Physical classes at Chattogram University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) will start on Dec 5. Meanwhile, the residential halls for all batches will be opened on Dec 1, a CUET press release said.
The decision was taken by 135th emergency meeting of the university's academic council on Monday. CUET Academic Council President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Alam presided over the meeting held at its conference room. Internal members of the Academic Council participated the function.
Each student must bring with them a certificate of at least the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, along with an ID card.
The Students who have not yet received a single dose of the vaccine will not be able to attend the classes. They are asked to contact the Student Welfare Department with a birth registration certificate.
