US-Bangla starts Male flight from Nov 19

The US-Bangla Airlines is all set to operate direct flight to Maldivian capital Male from Nov 19 as the first Bangladeshi carrier.

The country's largest private carrier in terms of the fleet number will operate three weekly direct flights at Dhaka-Male-Dhaka route on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday with its 164-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft, said the airline's press release on Wednesday (Oct 6).

The airline expected that the flight would fulfill the long-standing expectations of expatriate Bangladeshis residing in the Maldives as well as travel lover folks of both the South Asian nations.

The carrier has fixed the minimum fare Tk 29,508 for one-way and Tk 45,545 for return including all taxes and surcharges, said the release.

Currently, the US-Bangla Airlines operates international flights to Dubai, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Chennai and Guangzhou and domestic flights to all destinations.
