Bangladesh Bank has re-fixed the banking hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. till Aug 10 amid the lockdown to halt the sharp rise of Covid-19 in the country.
Banks will remain open from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. while the transaction will be made between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., said a central bank circular on Thursday (Aug 5).
However, in the issued circular, it reiterated that the banks will remain closed on Sunday (Aug 8) following the weekly holidays.
