Four moderate earthquakes jolted different parts of Sylhet today within a span of three and a half hours.
Meteorologist of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), Sylhet Sayeed Ahmed Chowdhury told media that the quake was felt at 3 degree on Richter Scale at 10.36 a.m., 4.1 degree on Richter scale at 10:50 a.m., 2.8 degree at 11.30 a.m. and 4 degree 01.58 p.m.
It originated with border area of Sylhet but the epicentre could not be identified.
However, no casualty was reported.
