Bangladesh Public Service Commission has postponed the viva voce for the 42nd (Special) Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination considering the pandemic situation.
The viva voce of 6,022 candidates, scheduled for May 23 to May 30, has been postponed, said a PSC press release on Tuesday (May 18).
In the shortest possible time after the relaxation of government restrictions, the next scheduled date for the viva will be published on the website of PSC, added the release.
The results for the 42nd BCS preliminary exam was published on Mar 29 this year.
The 42nd Special BCS was announced last year in order to recruit 2,000 physicians amid the coronavirus pandemic.
