The deadline for online application of the first year honours admission test in Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2020-21 academic year has been extended till May 3. Admission seekers from now on can apply till 3:00 p.m. on May 3, according to a notification issued on Saturday (Apr 24) in this regard.
The online application process which began on Apr 15 was scheduled to end on Apr 24 at 3 p.m. as per earlier timetable.
This year, preliminary selection and final admission test of the university will be held in two phases in compliance with the health safety guidelines and other rules, set by the government in the aftermath of on-going Covid-19 pandemic.
The preliminary selection test will be held on May 31 and Jun 1 while the final admission test will be held on Jun 10.
The final list of the selected and waiting candidates will be published on Jul 1.
