REHAB Fair 2017 begins in city

A five-day long housing fair titled 'REHAB Fair 2017' begun at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka on Thursday (Dec 21). The Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) arranged the fair to help consumers find flats and plots at an affordable cost.

A total of 203 stalls has been set up in the fair this year with 30 and 13 representatives respectively from the building materials companies and financial institutions.

Commerce minister Tofail Ahmed attended the inaugural session of the fair as the chief guest, while state minister for power, energy and mineral resources Nasrul Hamid attended as special guest.

The fair will continue till Dec 25. It will remain open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day. The entry fee will be Tk 50 for each person and anyone can visit the fair five times by purchasing a multiple ticket at Tk 100.

There are 205 stalls in the fair. Besides, 30 building materials producing companies and 13 financial institutions are also taking part in the fair.

REHAB offers prizes including car, motorcycle, fridge, TV and washing machine against entry tickets.
