Secondary, Higher Secondary level institutions to open on May 23

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni joined a meeting with the National Advisory Council on Thursday (Mar 25) for re-opening of educational institutions of the country.

Due to the recent rise of Covid-19 cases in Bangladesh and other parts of the world, the secondary and Higher Secondary level Educational institutions will be re-opened on May 23 after Eid-ul Fitr, Dr Dipu Moni said.

The decision was taken considering the health and overall safety of students, teachers, staff and parents, after consulting with the National Advisory Committee, she added.

During this time, online educational activities will continue and teachers-students and parents will follow the hygiene rules.
