People urged to follow health guideline on Int’l Martyrs’ Day

The Ministry of Cultural Affairs has requested the people to maintain health guidelines while laying wreaths at the Shaheed Minar on Ekushey February and International Mother Language Day on Feb 21.

A maximum of five delegates from each organization and a maximum of two individuals can lay wreaths at the Shaheed Minar and basin and liquid soap for hand wash will be kept at all entrances.

No one would be allowed to enter the Shaheed Minar premises except those wearing masks, said a press release.

Adequate number of Scout, Girl Guides, volunteer members would be deployed to maintain order in the Shaheed Minar Chattar and hand-sanitizers and masks would be provided so that the people can enter by hand-sanitizing.

If someone does not bring a mask, they would be given masks.
