Rain likely at many places across the country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday (Nov 1) predicted rain or thundershowers at many places of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 a.m. today.

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions, at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Rajshahi and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur division, said a met office bulletin issued in Dhaka.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, it said.

As a weather prediction for the next 72 hours, the bulletin said that rain and thundershowers may decrease gradually.
