Bangladesh reports 20 deaths, 1441 Covid cases in 24-hour

Bangladesh today confirmed 20 more deaths from coronavirus (Covid-19) infection in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 5,460.

According to the Health authorities, 1,441 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 374,592.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has made the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release in the afternoon.

As 1,685 patients have recovered in last 24 hours, the number of total recoveries reached 288,316, it also said.

A total of 20,39,413 samples have been tested so far as 12,605 samples tested in 109 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country in last 24 hours, the release added.

Bangladesh reported its first croronaviurs case on Mar 8 while first death on Mar 18.
