Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya got discharged from Nanavati Hospital on Monday (Jul 26) after they tested negative for Covid-19.
“Thank you all for your continued prayers and good wishes. Indebted forever. Aishwarya and Aaradhya have thankfully tested negative and have been discharged from the hospital. They will now be at home. My father and I remain in hospital under the care of the medical staff”, her husband Abhishek Bachchan tweeted on Monday from his verified Twitter account.
The former miss world Aishwarya and her daughter were shifted to Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital in Mumbai on Jul 17 as both of them have developed breathlessness, according to Indian media.
Coronavirus infected Aishwarya's husband Abhishek and father-in-law, Bollywood's legendary superstar Amitabh Bachchan have been staying in the same hospital since Jul 11.
Amitabh Bachchan, 77, tweeted on Jul 11 that he had tested positive and appealed to those who were in close proximity to him in the past 10 days to get themselves tested.
His son, Abhishek Bachchan, 44, also tweeted that he also had tested positive and was in a hospital.
