For the first time in the country, a two-day virtual conference has started on Friday (Jul 10). 'Bangladesh Innovation Summit 2020' is being held on a complete online platform at the initiative of Bangladesh Innovation Forum.
The conference was officially inaugurated on Friday afternoon by Junaid Ahmed Palak, MP, State Minister for Information and Communication Technology, Government of Bangladesh.
Organizers said the two-day conference will feature 33 well-known speakers in 17 sessions. In the context of the current global epidemic, this year's Bangladesh Innovation Summit 2020 has been arranged with the main theme of new innovations and action plans, said the organizers of the event.
Speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural session, Junaid Ahmed Palak said, “Today's world is dependent on talent and information technology. Corona’s reliance on information technology will be more widespread during this time and beyond. Due to the easy availability of digital connectivity, anyone can now build themselves efficiently from any end.”
“Everything will be managed online in the future, so he advises everyone to be more focused on information technology," he said. "People will enjoy the benefits of innovation as much as it is practiced, so we have to focus on innovation.”
He thanked the Bangladesh Innovation Forum for such an initiative online.
9475 participants are taking part in this year's Virtual Summit. The first day of the event will be "Business Summit’ on Jul 10 and the second day will be IT Professionals Meet-Up’ on Jul 11.
The topics to be discussed this time around are how the business model of a business venture can be in Corona, how to use work from home effectively, how to deal with Corona disaster through information technology, why health innovation is necessary at this time, Corona next time.
You can get a good idea of what kind of skill development is required, how to prepare yourself in the job market, the possibility of investing in entrepreneurship in Bangladesh, the immense potential of women in domestic enterprise, game development, business activities through online medium. There will also be discussions on various aspects of IT professionals' job market and job success in the local and international market, including IoT, data science, programming, affiliate marketing.
