The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations 2020 under 11 education boards were published today with 82.87 percent pass.

A total of 1,690,523 students out of 2,040,028 have become successful in the SSC and equivalent examinations this year, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni told a virtual briefing on SSC result at her ministry.

In the previous year, the pass rate was 82.2 percent.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina launched the results through videoconference in the morning. Education Minister Dipu Moni later held a press conference on the results through Facebook.

Examinees would get their results online and via SMS this year as the authorities decided to avoid the traditional method due to coronavirus situation in the country.

The results will also available on the education board website: educationboardresults.gov.bd.
