Closure of educational institutions extended until May 30

Bangladesh government has extended closure of educational institutions until May 30 aiming to contain the spread of coronavirus in the country.

An official letter said the students will have to stay at home and protect themselves from Coronavirus and the guardians will ensure their staying at home.

The students between sixth and tenth grade will take lesson through a programme titled ‘Amar Ghore Amar School’ on Sangsad Television or social media, it said, adding that principals of colleges will take steps to give lesson to students of their respective educational institutions by using technology through their own management.
