South Africa's tour of Sri Lanka in June due to deadly corona virus epidemic was canceled on Monday (Apr 20). South Africa were due to tour Sri Lanka in the first fortnight of June to play three ODIs and three Twenty20 matches.
CSA acting chief executive Dr Jacques Fowl said, “Our team has not been able to prepare due to the lockdown. Apart from this, the health of the players is our top priority.”
He said, “It is sad that we were forced to take this decision.”
“We will talk soon on the new dates of the tour.”
