To create awareness about Dengue among the mass people, students and the teachers of Journalism and Mass Communication Department of Daffodil International University (DIU) brought out a rally to create Awareness in Dhanmondi in the city recently.
Shirin Gaffar, Women Ward Commissioner of Dhanmondi, New Market and Hazaribagh (Ward-14-15-16) area of Dhaka South City Corporation, led the rally.
The rally started from the main campus of the university and surrounded main roads of Dhanmondi Area. The rally was attended by Prof Dr M Shakhawat Ali Khan, Adviser, Prof Dr Selim Ahmed, Head of the department, Sheikh Shafiul Islam, Associate Professor, Dr Taufiq Elahi, Associate Head, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication.
In the rally, students carried different play cards and posters in their hands painted with slogans.
