Department of English of Southeast University (SEU) organized a three-day long training on English Language Proficiency for college students from Jun 25 to 27 at SEU Seminar Hall, Banani, Dhaka. Ms. Adiba Murtaza, Lecturer, Department of English, SEU was the resource person of the certificate course.
Prof. Dr. ANM Meshquat Uddin, Vice-Chancellor of SEU inaugurated the course. Ms. Aliya Shahnoor Ameen, Chairperson, Department of English, welcomed forty two students from eight colleges who participated in the course. They were facilitated and inspired to enhance their English communication and grammar skills through the course.
In the closing ceremony, Vice-Chancellor of SEU distributed certificate of participation to the students and congratulated the department on undertaking this commendable initiative. He also inspired the students to carry on their quest to enhance their language skills.
Maj Gen Kazi Fakhruddin Ahmed (Retd), Registrar and Prof. Dr. Md. Abdul Hakim, Director, IQAC, were also present in the closing ceremony.
