A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Summit Group of Bangladesh and Japan’s Energy for New Era (JERA) was signed in Tokyo on Wednesday (May 29) in presence of Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Faisal Karim Khan of Summit Group, and Toshiro Kodoma of JERA signed the document on behalf of their respective organisation at a city hotel, reports said.
Meanwhile, executive vice-president of Japan Bangladesh Medical Association (JBMA) Shakurai Hiroyuki handed over the document of a previously signed agreement to Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA). The agreement was aimed at providing medical assistance and necessary cooperation to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in Dhaka.
