Online application opens for class XI admission

Online application for admission into class XI in the government and private colleges began on Sunday (May 12). Aspirants, who passed the SSC and equivalent exam this year, can apply online and via text messages from Teletalk numbers for admission, local media reported citing Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Professor Ziaul Haque.

As per the admission policy, the applications will be received in three phases. In the first step, students can apply till May 23 while the result of the first phase will be published on Jun 10.

In the second phase, the aspirants can apply on Jun 19 and 20. The results of the second phase will be published on Jun 21. The students could apply online on Jun 24 in the last phase while the results will be published on Jun 25.

The students have to get admission in their selected colleges within Jun 27 to 30 while classes will start from Jul 1.

Each student can submit application to minimum five colleges and maximum 10 colleges. The application fee is Tk. 150 for online while Tk. 120 for application via SMS from mobile.

The admission into class XI will be completed on the basis of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) results.
