82.20pc pass in SCC, equivalent exams

A total of 82.20 percent students have passed this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations under the 10 education boards.

The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations were published on Monday (May 6) with overall pass percentage of 82.20. 

A total 1,05,594 students secured highest grade GPA-5 in the examinations. Education Minister Dipu Moni announced the results at the International Mother Language Institute Auditorium in Segunbagicha in the morning. Later, the minister announced the results at a media briefing there, local media reported citing Education Ministry's Public Relations department. 

The results will be available from 12 p.m. onwards.

This year a total of 21,35,333 students – 10,64,892 girls and 10,70,441 boys – appeared at the SSC and equivalent examinations under the country’s 10 education boards.

The results can be found on www.educationboardresults.gov.bd. The results will be published at 2:00 p.m. simultaneously at the educational institutions of the country.

Besides, candidates can also know their results from mobile phones through SMS (Short Message Service) in the following order:    

SSC <> first three letters of the board <> Roll No <> 2019 and send to 16222.

Candidates of Madrasa board will have to write Dakhil <> MAD <> Roll No <> 2019 and send to 16222.

Besides, the candidates of Technical Education Board can send their message in the following order:

SSC <> TEC <> Roll No <> 2019 and send to 16222.
