PRAN Drinking Water is going to arrange a walkathon on May 3 to raise the fund for the people with physically disabled. The 5-km long walkathon will be begin at 7 am from the capital’s Hatirjheel Begun Bari area. Five taka will be deposited for every registration who want to participate at the event. The fund will be used for Dream for Disability Foundation (DDF), a sports organization for the people with physically disabled.
Interested people can join the event by completing the registration through prandwwalkathon.com. Meanwhile, around five thousand people already completed their registration.
Atikur Rahman, Head of Marketing at PRAN Drinking Water, said, “Physically disabled persons are now not burden for the country. They are participating many events across the world and achieving many prestigious award on behalf of our countries. So, we need to stand beside the disabled persons with a view to improving their life standard.”
He also added “PRAN Drinking Water is always working to help under privileged people. We also arranged walkathon in the past to raise fund to help street children.”
