The Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday (Mar 20) issued a gazette on the 37th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations appointing a total of 1,221 candidates to different cadres. The recruited officers have been urged to join their offices concerned on Apr 7, said a notification of the Ministry of Public Administration.
The final results of the 37th BCS examinations were published on Jun 12 with the recommendation of some 1,314 examinees for various cadre positions. A total of 93 recommended cadres were dropped from the final gazette.
The 37th BCS preliminary examinations were held simultaneously in Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Barishal, Khulna, Sylhet and Rangpur centres on Sep 30, 2016.
