A five-member of European diplomats based in Dhaka led by EU Delegation Charge D Affairs Konstantinos Vardakis visited PRAN Industrial Park at Palash of Narsingdi on Thursday. The EU delegation visited various production floors including dairy, candy and bakery.
Eleash Mridah, Managing Director of PRAN Group, Md Muniruzzaman, Executive Director of PRAN Dairy and Tanul Islam General Manager of PRAN Industrial Park apprised the delegation various aspects of production process.
The delegation expressed satisfaction to see the overall activities of the factory. Konstantinos Vardakis said, “Every organization should manufacture quality products maintaining compliance which PRAN Group is doing with integrity. The steps taken by the group for manufacturing products using modern technology are praiseworthy. The delegation also assured to take necessary steps to expand the market opportunities in the EU countries.”
Eleash Mridah said, “We are glad that the EU Delegation paid a visit to our factory. It is a matter of proud for us as the delegation was delighted to see the world class factory in Bangladesh.”
The other members of the delegation are- Abu Syed Belal, Trade Adviser of EU Delegation to Bangladesh, Pierre-Henry LENFANT, Economic Counsellor of France Embassy in Dhaka, Julien DEUR, Economic Attache and Ylva Festin, Head of Political, Commercial and Communication Section of Embassy of Sweden in Dhaka.
