Media can play a significant role to promote the flight safety in the aviation sector of Bangladesh, opined by the Managing Director of NOVOAIR limited Mofizur Rahman. A round table discussion held on Tuesday in a prominent hotel of the capital with the title “Role of Media, Promoting Airline Safety”. Meeting had a spontaneous participation by learned journalists and media personal from all spheres.
The title topic was presented by Managing Director of NOVOAIR Limited. Captain Ashfaq Ur Rahman, Chief of Safety of NOVOAIR Limited also presented some important safety aspects at the program.
Mofizur Rahman mentioned that media can play a unique role in enhancing aviation safety by publishing realistic news. Media’s role is inevitable in increasing public awareness for areas like- airport infrastructure, air traffic management and formulating updated rules and regulation.
He also said that NOVOAIR has always given priority to its customers’ safety, security, comfort and on time departure. By ensuring Safety and on time service, NOVOAIR has earned trust and satisfaction of its passenger and become the Airline of choice in Bangladesh.
Currently, NOVOAIR operates daily flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Jashore, Sylhet, Saidpur, Barishal, Rajshahi and Kolkata with six ATR 72-500 aircraft.
