Bangladesh Nationalist Party has called for a public meeting in Dhaka on Thursday (Sep 27). The party’s senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the programme in a press conference at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office on Monday (Sep 24), local media reports said.
The party said they will hold the rally at Suhrawardy Udyan or at Paltan, and have completed all formalities regarding venue permission.
The declaration of this rally comes after BNP’s participation in the Jatiya Oikya Prokriya rally on Saturday – a programme that is now the talk of the political arena.
Dr Kamal Hossain-led Jatiyo Oikya Prokriya accommodated several political parties in that programme, which was held in Gulistan.
