Pakistan beat Bhutan by 3-0 in a group match of the 2018 SAFF Suzuki Cup football at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka on Saturday (Sep 8).
Muhammad Riaz found the net in the 20th minute as Pakistan took the lead. Nine minutes later, Pakistan doubled the lead through Hasan Bashir (2-0).
In the second half, the two teams tried hard, but can't score within 90 minutes. However, in the added time, Faheem Ahmed netted for Pakistan to ensure win (3-0).
Through this win, Pakistan qualify for the semifinals of the South Asian tournament, while Bhutan were eliminated from the first round.
