A Dhaka Court has granted ad-interim bail to actress Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed in a case filed under Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Debbrata Biswas passed the order on Tuesday (Aug 21), local media reports said.
The court has granted ad-interim bail to Nowshah till the next date.
On Aug 4, Rapid Action Battalion arrested actress Nawshaba from city’s Uttara area for spreading rumors on Facebook over the attack on protesting students at Jhigatola.
Afterwards, she underwent two rounds of remand.
